WORLD POULTRY VIRTUAL CONGRESS (WPVC) BY HIPRA 2022

Terms and Conditions

By completing the registration for WPVC by HIPRA (the “Event”), you agree to the Event’s Terms and Conditions below and HIPRA’s privacy policy, available at  https://www.hipra.com/portal/en/hipra/legal/privacy-policy

Please note that the email address you submitted during registration will be the one linked to your virtual platform account used to access the event on the virtual platform. Please make sure this is correct and is unique to you as only one person can log in with the email address provided. Please contact us if you need to update your email address.

Registration

Registration is free of charge and shall be done through the Event´s website https://www.poultrycongress.hipra.com. Registration is open to all animal health professionals and those interested in the Animal Health field.

Cancellations

Cancellations are free and shall be submitted via email, to be sent to corporate.poultry@hipra.com.

Programme

Whilst the programme of the Event is correct at the time of release at https://www.poultrycongress.hipra.com, HIPRA reserves the right to change details of the Event without notice. All best endeavours will be made to present the programme as publicised, however alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Event Materials

Should the materials (including but not limited to promotional materials, advertisements, product announcements or solicitation for services) displayed during the Event be restricted to any particular category of recipients, they will be marked as such.

The Event is international, you will be able to access the legal information on HIPRA´s products and services available in your country at https://www.hipra.com/portal/en/hipra/animalhealth/products. If you have any questions, please address them to our local representatives.

Access to the Online Event

In the event of internet or other telecommunications disruptions affecting the live transmission of the Event, delegates will have the opportunity to watch the recorded sessions on-demand, by accessing the Event online platform from 30th September until 30th October 2022. HIPRA is not liable or responsible for any delay, disruption or disturbance in the operation of the internet or problems caused by your internet service provider or for any telecommunications failures which are beyond our control. Access to the online content may be temporarily unavailable during the Event for required updates and critical maintenance of the virtual platform and systems to ensure optimal user experience. In any event, these times will be kept to a minimum.

Navigate through the Event

Within the platform, delegates will have access to our virtual exhibition where they can visit booths and speak to representatives through private messages or individual voice calls for any specific enquiries.

Also within the booth, exhibitors, partners and/or the organizer will include links, videos and documents concerning their latest products/services and offers. Documents can be added to your virtual delegate bag and downloaded when required.

If the Event´s organizer is running any competitions/challenges, these will be accessed through their respective section at the Event´s website.

Liability

Hipra may cancel the Event when there are circumstances that reasonably prevent it. HIPRA’s liability shall be limited to a refund of any fees paid to HIPRA for that particular Event or part thereof.

HIPRA shall not be liable to you for any loss of profit or anticipated revenue, loss of management time, loss of opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however arising.

Views expressed by speakers are their own. HIPRA disclaims any liability for any advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the Event or in any documentation provided to delegates unless generated directly by HIPRA.

Data Protection

Personal data collected by HIPRA during the registration process may be stored in a file owned by HIPRA and may be used to fulfil delegate attendance at Event and for delegates who qualify for the Event partners to fulfil their partnering and to keep participants informed of the latest HIPRA products and services in the field of veterinary medicine and animal health.

Once registered as a delegate for the Event, individuals will be provided with a user account for the virtual platform (hiprawpvc.hiperfair.com) using the email address provided during the registration process. After registration you will receive your user name and password. A user profile will be set up to include the delegate’s full name and company submitted during your registration. Profiles will be made public (visible to all other attendees within the platform). Profile information will also be visible via a platform delegate list, again available to those present within the platform – no contact details will be shared within the profile or delegate list.

If you register for the Event, you will be sent information related to attending the Event including programme updates as well as information about future HIPRA congresses.

Photography and Filming

HIPRA may take screenshot images and videos during all virtual activities and sessions during the Event. By participating in the Event and/or other activities, you grant HIPRA the right to use your profile information / image for such purposes including, but not limited to, posting or publishing news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including HIPRA and HIPRA’s event websites and social media channels. All images become the property of HIPRA. Images may be displayed, distributed and used by HIPRA for any purpose. It is forbidden for attendees to reproduce, record and share any content of the Event displayed within the platform without prior written permission from HIPRA.

Code of Conduct

By registering to attend the Event, you have agreed to sign up to and abide by the Attendees’ Code of Conduct which can be viewed below. Participants and HIPRA agree that these terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain.

WPVC by HIPRA – Attendee Code of Conduct

HIPRA is committed to providing a professional, friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all participants at our meetings and events. We want to replicate that through our virtual event, so please participate, encourage others to do so and use all the opportunities to engage through the various channels.

All attendees, including but not limited to members, delegates, speakers, staff members, exhibitors, sponsors and all others are asked to abide by HIPRA’s virtual Congress Attendee Code of Conduct. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these guidelines:

  1. Keep in mind that online interaction can be easily misconstrued, and debate can quickly become heated. We ask all users to be mindful of the tone of their messages and avoid using offensive or derogatory language. Where users disagree, offer your point of view constructively, and avoid comments about personality, individual approaches or any specific organisation’s problems;
  2. All engagements through the various channels should be polite and respectful. Harassing, intimidating or discriminatory verbal, physical or visual conduct in any form or posting inappropriate, graphic or profane images, to include wearing clothing with graphic, inappropriate or profane images or slogans is not allowed;
  3. Disruption of presentations or verbal abuse of any other attendees, including speakers, staff and sponsors, will not be tolerated;
  4. Use caution when discussing products. Information posted is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws;
  5. Do not post promotional materials, including but not limited to advertisements, product announcements or solicitation for services, apart from those permitted to event exhibitors/partners/organizers;
  6. Data Protection regulations must be followed for any personal data you may obtain from the event and consent must be obtained from the data subject to process, store, use or share this data;
  7. Challenging ideas and statements play a part at events but please do so in a polite, constructive and professional manner.
  8. To protect the security of WPVC by HIPRA, attendees are asked not to share login credentials with unregistered individuals;
  9. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated during any portion of the event regardless of the platform. HIPRA reserves the right to remove messages that violate the WPVC by HIPRA Code of Conduct. Individuals who violate the WPVC by HIPRA Code of Conduct may be removed and blocked from the event without warning. They may also be prohibited from attending any future HIPRA events.
